1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sittas Club ("Sittas," the "Platform"), located at sittas.club, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Sittas is a platform that connects service providers (barbers, nail artists, food vendors, and other professionals) with clients. We facilitate appointment booking, food ordering, client management, and communication between providers and their customers. Sittas acts as an intermediary platform and is not a party to the service agreement between providers and clients.

3. User Accounts

For Service Providers

You must apply and be approved to create a provider profile
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
You must provide accurate and current information
You are solely responsible for all activity under your account
You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding your services

For Clients / Customers

You may place orders or book appointments without creating a full account
You must provide a valid name and contact information
You agree to honor orders placed and appointments booked
Repeated no-shows may result in being blocked by providers

4. Food Orders & Services

⚠️ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

Sittas is a technology platform that facilitates orders between customers and independent food vendors. Sittas does NOT prepare, handle, or deliver food. All food is prepared by independent vendors who are solely responsible for food safety, quality, hygiene, and compliance with local health regulations.

Prices are set by individual vendors and may change without notice
Orders are confirmed upon submission but may be subject to availability
Vendors may cancel or modify orders at their discretion
Refund policies are determined by individual vendors
Sittas is not liable for any food-related illness, injury, or allergic reaction

5. NFC & Contactless Interaction

Some providers use NFC (Near Field Communication) tags to allow customers to access their profiles and place orders by tapping their phone. By using NFC functionality, you understand that:

NFC tags direct you to a web page — no app download is required
You may optionally install our Progressive Web App (PWA) for enhanced functionality
No personal data is transmitted through the NFC tap itself

6. SMS & Communications Consent

By placing an order, booking an appointment, or providing your phone number on Sittas, you expressly consent to receive text messages (SMS) from Sittas and/or the service provider you transacted with, including:

Order and appointment confirmations
Status updates and reminders
Promotional offers from providers you have interacted with

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of promotional messages. Your consent is not a condition of purchase.

7. Progressive Web App (PWA)

Sittas offers a Progressive Web App that you may install on your device. The PWA:

Is free to install and does not require an app store
May request permission to send push notifications
Works offline for basic functionality
Can be uninstalled at any time from your device settings
Does not access your contacts, camera, or files unless explicitly requested

8. Trust & Safety System

Providers may use our Trust system to manage their client relationships:

Trusted: Clients verified by the provider. Their appointments are prioritized
Blocked: Clients who have been restricted by the provider from booking or ordering

Trust and block decisions are made solely by individual providers. Sittas does not interfere with provider-client relationships.

9. Payments

Payments on Sittas are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment information on our servers. All transactions are subject to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.

10. Intellectual Property

The Sittas platform, including its design, code, branding, and content, is the property of Sittas LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without written permission. Patent Pending.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SITTAS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Loss of profits or revenue
Food-related illness, injury, or allergic reaction
Service quality disputes between providers and clients
Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Any matter relating to the platform

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SITTAS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sittas LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Sittas at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Providers may request deletion of their account and data by contacting us.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of Sittas after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
